The Chalice is the Lake to the northeast of the Kingdom of the Dead[1] and southeast of the Empire Ever Dark. The Duskwood touches its western banks.
Few if any humans have been to the Chalice in the centuries before the Woe reached it.[2]
The lake and its shores are free of the poisons that plague the lower parts of the Kingdom of the Dead.[2]
