The Soninke are a race of humans originally hailing from the Wasteland of Northern Praes.
Appearance[]
Soninke tend to be dark-skinned, ranging from a medium brown to charcoal black. They are also frequently quite tall. They tend to have a distinctive sing-song accent.
Culture[]
Soninke are one of the two main human races of the Empire, the other being the Taghreb. The two groups have a racial dislike of one another, though both view Callowans with contempt.
They are based off the Soninke people of West Africa.
