The Paladin is a named that is active in its quest to uphold justice. Unlike priests whose calling are to serve the gods by helping the injured and spreading their word, the paladins are called to stomp out evil through force. They are trained in martial arts and are more likely to stand in the front lines suffering blows to shield their allies.The Name must seek out evil, therefore the quest to find evil may affect their aspects. This also would provide allies with the ability to search out evil themed names.
Abilities[]
The Paladin is a defensive name whose abilities both support his allies as well as provide defensive techniques. As stated by Catherine Foundling the name's abilities such as Smite are not able to cause damage to single targets but can stun large groups. The heaven's blessing provides a defense against mage scrying. Still offensive abilities can only be used a maximum of three times. Meaning overall the defensive nature of the name is where it's power lies.
The Paladin's name is martial themed and allowed him to spar with both Adjutant and Catherine with ease. The name is reliant on more offensive names such as the Red Mage and the Brigand to dispatch enemies. his purpose is to shield allies acting as a front line defender, rebuffing even the most harsh attacks with his Abilities as well as shielding against scrying attempts through heaven's blessing.
