The Taghreb are one of the two main human ethnic groups of the Dread Empire of Praes, specifically to the desert. The other are the Soninke.

Taghreb tend to have lighter skin than Soninke, but darker than Southern Callowans. They are most likely molded after northern-african and middle-eastern appearance.
Culture[]
The Taghreb tend to be ruthless and arrogant, but have complex customs and rules of etiquette that few are willing to break lightly. One of thier most well known custom's is when an Taghreb ask to sit at your fire then that is an agreement that they will not commit any violence at least till dawn.
The Taghreb are a dwindling people, almost second-class citizens after the Soninke, who made the main Praesian population. Although human, and though entitled to more rights than Orcs and Goblins, they are not among the most powerful nobles, who are mainly Soninke. According to Aisha Bishara, the sand buries everything, and she wants to have a place in the world.
The Taghreb had mixed their lineages with the djinn, thus enancing their personal magic power. Although the boost was successful, it proved ultimately less enduring than the Wolof ritual magic.
