The Wasteland is a region in northern and central Praes. It makes up the majority of the lands populated by Soninke and Taghreb. It is rich in gems and other valuable resources but is unfertile.
Geographically it lies between Aksum, Nok and Thalassina. Ater lies to the centre of the Wasteland.
